As part of my role within the WRHA Surgery Program I work with many disciplines and programs to create and revise clinical practice guidelines and policies.  I work closely with the Perioperative Educators within the health region on education requirements and develop tools to support these requirements. The WRHA provides the AORN Perio-op 101 course for all new and inexperienced OR nurses which I administer and provide support for students.
